Jewelry Production Inventory I have built my website, and threw a couple of things up there just to try out the Weebly shopping cart. Meanwhile, I do other things, especially during the summer, while still making jewelry, and cutting wood, and maintaining my other website, business, and a full time job........ I ran into one problem with this jewelry stuff..... Keeping track of it! It was raining outside today anyway. I live in the boonies, and my only internet option is satellite, which doesn't work so well when it's raining. So I sat down at the computer this morning. I don't need internet to make an Excel sheet. I have always kept a sheet, and a tally, when I make or build things. Normally, when I am in the wood shop making something, I need to make notes on a specific product. I depend on those notes when I get back to the office to remind me of the details. I have been using this for years in my Rustic Woodworking business. I simply used my normal sheets and made it into an Excel workbook. I am still tweaking it. Let me know what you think. Anybody just starting out in not only the jewelry business, but any home based craft business, might find this workbook helpful. I don't have it finalized yet, but here's a screen shot of what I have so far. I'm still working on some of the formulas for the back-end pages so that the tally page gets populated automatically. The little yellow right-hand corner gets cut off and is filed with the product. The actual printed page is filed wherever you want, like in a ring binder. Since it is an Excel file, you can also fill it in on your computer and file one for each item you want to keep track of. I am going to get rid of some of the blue background to save on printer ink. What do you think? Any helpful comments?

If you are looking for an online presence or upgrade an existing website- you need to pick out a good web designing company that commensurate to your requirements. A web designing company can differentiate a mediocre website and a stellar one- but all web designing companies are not the same and a good designing company might not be right for your project genre.
